Quiet suburban Cafe with a lot of indoor seating. Coffee was excellent. Ciabatta toast was not to my liking but the poached egg and bacon were cooked well. The eggs Benedict (pictured) and Lemon and yoghurt cake was very nice. Lots of other menu items I will come back to try another day!
Lovely Tuesday lunch today. I haven't been for a few years and there has been changes - more tables,(they've made room by having less continental and Italian grocery items), a lovely play area for the little ones, and an extensive menu.
Chairs were comfy, service was great, coffee was very good, and the Crema Caffe was outstanding. We're already addicted lol.
The serving sizes are very generous. I had the $20 Monday/Tuesday special which is great value and couldn't eat it all. My friend had the toasted muesli and at first we thought it was a little pricey...until it came out. It was huge and definitely worth the price. She said it was absolutely beautiful.
BEST place for a group lunch. Fast and friendly service and yummy authentic food. The lovely Trish gave us a couple of extra berries to garnish our smoothies which were delicious! (Especially the white choc one 😋). Great vegetarian options although the meatballs and polenta are just way too good not to try! Thanks Pimlott and Strand!! …
Can someone explain to me how you can sell a very small peanut butter slice for 8 dollars and a cappuccino in the mug for another 8 dollars?Do you think you are in front at the beach or in the city?Unbelievable. 16 dollars ....When you go to Engine room one of the best place for coffee in North Perth and you pay for a large almond cappuccino 5.70 ?????Lets be mindfull.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I have waited a week to write this review as I was so upset leaving this cafe last week. My son and I met a friend and their child for a coffee. My son has some sensory issues and can sometimes get overwhelmed in busy environments. My son and his friend were playing in the play area and coming back and forth to the table every now and again my son would let out a scream in excitement. The lady, I think her name is Grace had made a comment at the till about my son earlier but later came to the table and asked if that was my son, and that she couldn't have 'that' in here. I asked if anyone complained and she said no, but she was surprised that the oldies hadn't been up to the till yet. I was so embarrassed that we started to pack up. She followed us outside and continued to talk to me about my son. At this stage my son ran back into the cafe, I am guessing he sensed something was wrong and started to cry. Honestly, I have never felt so embarrassed and so low in a cafe, and really felt for my son. If the establishment has a play area for kids it should be child/family friendly, but it is not!
Brunch was delicious and the servings very generous considering the price. Coffee was average. The dining area is very casual and could do with a little decor makeover. I did love the little providore area that sells Italian produce.
Always get a coffee from them before I head to the class. Perfect coffee everytime I had it. And today finally sat down and tried their famous burger, donuts and pear custard cake. All perfect! Customers service and atmosphere are great too. Saw others brought their dogs sitting outside and a small playzone for children. What more can you ask for? 10 out of 10 from me for today experience (^^)b
I had read a review in the paper so wanted to try it.
My daughter ordered the lemon cheesecake and iced coffee. The cheesecake was homemade like my mums so that was a winner.
My poached eggs were expensive at $18 and one egg was raw. When I notified the waitress I expected someone to apologise or offer me something as I couldn’t finish my meal. Nothing.
I will go back to try other cakes but the menu is very expensive. Museli $22?? What’s in it?
Just go for cake and coffee
